Mobile Game Reviews: Let's Talk Cubie Adventure

In this daily blog (and video)-series I take a first impressions look at the best mobile games that I come by. Be sure to share your favorite mobile game with the rest of us in the comments below!

Cubie Adventure is a very polished level-based casual one-touch arcade platformer. The game concept is rather unique, with your character running automatically, and the goal being to time tab the screen at JUST the right time, so that your character moves around the level without loosing momentum (while avoiding traps and enemies chasing you, of course).

There are three different game modes (one being PVP), lots of characters to unlock, and overall, I had a fun time playing this game, oftentimes literally sitting on the edge of my seat.

My only critique of the game is that while the level design is great, some levels are so tricky that you have to play the same level twice in order to finish it, which means you WILL run through the keys you needed to play each level (energy system) within 15-20 minutes, depending on how good you are. As a casual game, though, this most likely won't frustrate you much.
