Project: Rubikon

  • What is this?

    • Rubikon is an old-school 2D game inspired by TLOZ-Link's Awakening / A Link to the Past in development by a team of 3 friends.

  • What's it about?

    • It takes place in a world torn by conflict raging on for centuries.
The main kicker is that the conflict is continuously raging on in the background, no matter if the player directly participates or not.
Depending on the outcomes of battles, the balance of power between the two main factions shifts which can influence the people in the affected area. The player might find a fort besieged or a town struggling to get by as resources are used up by the army.
The plan is that you can pick sides, or even stay neutral and mainly take care of the civilians who suffer under the everlasting war.

  • Who are you?

    • Tony and myself (Till) are programmers and we originally kicked off this project. We studied computer science together and started using Unity during that time.
While working at a small game studio I met Torben, our artist who is making all the assets you'll see posted here.
We do have some more helpers, like Yoshi, a game designer and writer who will help formulate dialogues and story and a couple of talented musicians who are working on a fitting soundtrack :)

  • When can I play it?

    • Tough question but by the end of the summer we plan on having a gameplay video ready. Once we reach that state we might consider building the scenes used in the video into a playable demo - no promises yet.

  • How can I support you?

    • Share our stuff! Check out our social media (find all the links in the sidebar or below) and spread the word.
      Any feedback is appreciated too.
Keep your eyes peeled, there might be a fundraiser dropping soon so we can go full time :D

Main designer here with a massive scale RTS/grand strategy/city builder/god game. If this sounds interesting and you're an artist or programmer with ideas then please contact me! We can make a bundle! I already have musicians with solid tracks. About three quarters of the way through total development, just need minor details filled out and a lot of art assets worked in.

INT is a 3D Sci-fi RPG with a strong emphasis on story, role playing, and innovative RPG features such as randomized companions. The focus is on the journey through a war-torn world with fast-paced combat against hordes of enemies. The player must accomplish quests like a traditional RPG, complete objectives, and meet lively crew members who will aid in the player's survival. Throughout the game you can side and complete missions through criminal cartels, and the two major combatants, the UCE and ACP, of the Interstellar Civil War.

      Hello guys!
This is the first game of our studio and we just released it on Play Store. Lighty Ghost is a little game where you need to touch the walls while avoiding to touch the spikes. The longer you stay alive, the bigger your score is. The little detail is the "green lights" multiplicators that encourage you to take risks in order to have bigger score. We already planned to launch on iOS when our account will be validated and to integrate a leaderboard (certainly based on facebook accounts) to compare with your friends in a version 2.
We need advices to make the "green lights" multiplicators more understandable in the game. A lot of people think for the moment it is poison. Moreover, when you take a multiplicator, the next one will multiply by 2 again until you reach x16 which is the maximum. We tried to make it understand by adding the bubbles on top of our character and make the tail bigger each time. Do you have advices on that?
Same for the gems, it is to buy characters. An idea to improve the understanding of this part?
      Thanks guys!
