I'm training for the Myrtle Beach Marathon to be held in Myrtle Beach, SC on February 19, 2005. I've never run a marathon before, nor have I really ever desired to run a marathon, but I was asked to be a training partner for it and out of conscious I couldn't say no. But now after having trained for the last two months or so, I'm motivated to run the marathon.
Unfortunately, I'm not so motivated on making sure I train for it on the days I can't train with my partner. So that's what this is about.
The current training schedule involves running two or three days during the week and a long run on the weekend. When I have a partner to train with, I'm fine. When I don't have a partner, I don't train.
So this past week, we did:
Tuesday: 9-10 miles. Hour and a half straight of running.
Thursday: 45 minute run
Weekend: didn't do anything
