Contest Update!

The contest is going steadily, but the flow of entries have dropped off from the first day. If you enter now, you'd have a pretty fair chance of winning just from the number of entries. Make an entry and make it good, and you've got a fair chance to walk away with a nice prize.

Secret Contest-winning Hint: Be sure to make your level interesting and fun to play, and not just pretty. Some folks are spending so much time making pretty patterns with walls and tile colors, and they're not really spending a lot of time making a good level. In general, you can make a completely vexing level without taking up the entire screen and requiring a hundred moves to finish.

For example, try this one (this is not an entry).

Note that there are no walls at all (black-space all around it). It's not complicated in any way, but I'll bet you have a rough time with it.
Also, I'm upping the ante a bit.
Don't worry about "shipped when available" rule regarding the XBox. I've got it in my office now, and I'll be express-mailing it to the winner the very day that we're finished judging.

Here's your prize, just waiting to be mailed right to your doorstep in plenty of time for the holidays!

Somebody please win the contest and take this gizmo off my hands! My wife's itching to pop it open and "test" it.
