LogViewer

Now that the contest is over (probably), I've gotten back to work on my engine. I've been quite frustrated with the logging system for a while now, so I'm fixing that up. In the process I created a cool LogViewer html page. I like the idea of using several log-files for different subsystems. However, I dislike needing to view all these separate files.

So I present to you the Log Viewer; a client-side-only dynamic webpage that collects different text files into a single webpage. Using tabs you can quickly browse all files.

View a working example here.

And the source code (simply save as a .html file and edit to suit your needs):

PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

Daedalus LogViewer

"overflow: hidden;">

"navcontainer" align="right">
"float: left; margin-top: 0; font: bold 16px Verdana, sans-serif;">Daedalus LogViewer

    "navlist">

The only thing you need to change is the array near the top of the file. These are the files that will be shown on the page.

Bug:
- In Internet Explorer it might open any file that hasn't got the txt extesion, in notepad. Doesn't happen for everyone, and doesn't happen in Firefox. Seems to have something to do with MIME types. In the example the third file 'generic.log' might brake.

Comments are welcome.
