I did have to stop myself from over engineering the game objects. I seem to tend towards either a horrible mess of procedural code or a stupid ammounts of OO stuff. I like the way the structure of the game is at the moment though. I don't have too many objects, only things that really need to be their own objects, and the logic is settling down in the right classes.
One of the main reasons that I didn't get started on the editor is that I found out that I was supposed to have read Of Mice and Men over the break. I had completely forgotten about it, so I spent a while reading summaries and commentaries. I'll have to go and buy the book tomorrow if I can, and flick through it.
