I haven't touched the game since Sunday, but I'm going to get to work on the editor tomorrow.

I spent all of sunday reading up on various algorithms and data structures. I like that kind of thing.

Monday was first day back to school, getting my grades (which I was pretty happy with), that sort of thing. When I got home my order had arrived from Amazon - Effective C++ and Design Patterns. So I spent all of my spare time on Monday reading Effective C++. What a book. I haven't touched the other one yet. I want to read them both through from cover to cover and hopping between books would not exactly help.

Today was spent pretty much the same. School, home, read Effective C++. I did try out Rose Online though. Didn't run that well on my machine, and it kind of spoiled the experience.

The school recieved a letter about that game design comp dr default and I entered a while ago. It asked us to come to some awards ceremony on Thursday week. It should be fairly interesting, since I'd say most of the people my age interested in making games should be there. I was a bit dissapointed that I didn't get to enter into the actual game creation compotition but I didn't have time with my end of term exams and my engine to get a game finished. Anyway, should be fun.
