I started work on the editor today. This is goingto be the most complicated C# program that I've created, but its still fairly simple in general coding terms. There are a few key elements that the level editor has to control: tile map, waypoints and NPCs (Guards and fellow prisoners). At the moment I've just put together GUI for editing the tile map. It hasn't been coded fully yet but I'm making deffinate progress. It'll take me a day or two to get the tilemap part of the editor finished. I'm not sure whether I should just write the editor with all its features now, or two add on each of the features as I add them to the game itself. I'll probably write the editor completely in one go.

I also finally got around to playing CS Source. I'd been a bit reluctant after my experience with the original which I hadn't liked. The game was actually really fun. I can't remember the original well enough to make any concrete comparrisons but it was definately a much more friendly game to play, especially with the autobuy button which removed the need to get to grips with the whole CS arsenel before you can get underway.
