Working out some bugs in ResourceWriter & ResourceReader

Sign in to follow this

Nexus World Builder has a custom BinaryWriter and BinaryReader that supports LZO compression and a cyclic redundancy checksum to protect data integrity. I know this layer works as it should, yet after moving the serializable objects into the new binary world format I started having issues with failed CRC32 lookups. I think this is due to a bug I introduced in one of the inherited BinaryReader or BinaryWriter classes. I am currently working on fixing this issue so that I can begin saving all attributes and entities of a world.
