Ubuntu Linux

Decided that I should be testing on linux also... Installed Ubuntu last night. After a minor color depth issue with X I got the display driver working... The sound isn't and neither is the networking but hopefully later. To get around the lack of internet I mounted an ISO image of my project to the filesystem, only to find that the Ubuntu default install doesn't include java... I always hate having to install new software on linux...not to mention just getting everything to work in the firstplace.
