I've managed to get some fairly decent normal mapping. So far there are three bump templates to choose from: Diffuse, Specular, and Diffuse-Specular. These templates borrow from the specular power setting of their corresponding basic material if one exists; else they use a default setting. This option can be easily removed however if specular independence is desired.

This journal is by far the most interesting one. Keep up the good work! [smile]

And I still can't believe you haven't released anything but screenshots. Bastard. [grin]

Thank you both very much for taking the time to comment on my work. It is very much appreciated, even though I did get called a bastard. [smile]

Hey Pipo, I know you're interested in testing out my apps or seeing a demo and you should know that I used to post all kinds of unfinished demos, etc. Lately I am trying to be a bit more professional about the work that I publish. You only get one "first" impression with each project and I'm determined to make it a good one this time.

I should also let you know that I am planning to release the whole library, tools and all, for public use. Thanks again for reading.

I respect your decision, of course I do. It's good to be professional, but y'know, all OSS do have an amount of betas. So I hope when your project is at a certain stage, and you need testing, you'd invite me for a beta. [rolleyes]

In the mean time, keep up the good work and hot screens!
