I finally sat down to do the pathfinding code which I'd been telling myself to do for weeks. I was quite surprised by how simple the algorithm was to actually turn into code. I know there are probably a million and one optimizations I could add to my code but given the relative simplicity of the levels my code should be more than effective. So the pathfinding is coded, but totally untested. Should get the bugs out of it tomorrow.
I don't think I've said it before, so I'll say it now - STL rocks. The multimap container made the pathfinding rediculously simple.
So I just have to get the guard finished off, and one other element of the game, and then it'll be time to put together the content.
