Very nice. I shall tackle a Snake clone using Lucid by the end of the week.... Still haven't had an attempt at the PopCap framework, any recommendations as to how I proceed before I jump into it?

The immediate impulse is to jump right into the "big" game example that comes with the framework, "Hungarr". Don't do that.
Start with Demo1, and progress to Demo2 and onwards.
