From a link that I got from the Java Forum when asking about better sound managers, I decided to try out JLayer. So far I have been able to run some of their examples, but nothing more then that. Its another whole new world to me.

So instead of reimplementing the tile/vert change GUI from the first write of JavaTactics I decided to head into the world of Sound Programming.... hehe I'm just placing what needs to be done eventually to the bottom of the list. Its not a matter of being creative, but rather just rewriting the code.... so boring...

On the same lines, I figure that another project that I could start would deal with actually doing audio recording with Java. I saw the neat demo put out by sun where there was a full midi drum machine as well as audio recording/playback. So I figured that I would make a program that could be used for the creation of a Podcast... Just select you intro/outro, hit record and in the middle of the recording if you wanted to play another clip, just load it up. It could have full RSS feed control as well.... But that idea is for after I get a good demo out of Java Tactics :)
