Still at it...

I'm not dead :)

Things are actually looking good for once since I started back refamilarizing myself with the lovely innards of C++ after suppressing JAVA. Currently I'm in the process of doing a lot of pre development for a small platform game which means designs for characters and levels etc.

Right now I'm going through the April release of the DX SDK and preparing to start creating the necessary game tools I need as I move forward. In the coming days / weeks I will start to post some screenshots of the character designs both conceptually and completely animated in 3D. This journal will also reflect my game play ideas, issues and development.

What is funny to me now is that when I first started this journal I was all over the place and wanted to do so many different things. I guess I was mentally constipated lol which basically was just me talking out loud and being excited about getting back into a groove.

But as time moved forward and I started to get back into the groove I have been able to get my "MOJO" back, so the Multiplayer FPS that I originally had planned has been scratched along with whatever else I thought I wanted to do. So the above banner will change to reflect the new direction.

This unnamed platformer will allow me to do two things, show off my creative side through creative 3D CG and feed the need to code...its going to be a fun summer.
