Ugh, been too long. Busy alot lately, end of the school year coming up. Went to see Star Wars at midnight last night after being at school untill 7:00. That was pretty chill, and cost me a day's worth of programming. It was an amazing movie, though. Went with like 20 of my dudes, so that was pretty good.
So, Next Gen console wars. Revolution all the way, even though I'll end up with a PS3 too. I don't even need to list my reasons, Revolution will slaughter. Oh, and of course, XBox 360 has a stupid name. I still don't get it. Before Star Wars though I had some people at my house and we watched alot of the PS3 graphics vids (as well as Zelda: tTP trailer). We were all amazed.
So as for programming, I'm on a team now. We have three (or maybe four now) members so far, and we're called Multi-Agent Games. Whoo! I think my first project is something along the lines of a sidescroller. I've run a couple of samples from an engine I made with an old Bucky O'Hare bitmap. Lookie:
Now I just have to add gravity so he can go from top platform to the bottom without having to actually 'jump' down. Then I have to make it so he hits his head on a platform instead of going right through it. Otherwise it works just fine.
Anyhow, I'm going to go start on that. Peax!

You reckon?
Not to say your wrong at all, but given that Sony and Microsoft have been dropping some serious bombshells for their next gen stuff, by comparison Nintendo seem to be kicking back with a joint and chilling out in the sun whilst watching the competition chase each other [smile]
Doesn't strike me as the greatest marketting campaign ever!
XBox 2 wouldn't of worked for the marketting department. 3 > 2, thus PS3 > XB2. Equally they couldn't call it the XBox 3 because that'd confuse people ("where did #2 go??"). Can't explain the whole "360" thing though... [oh]
