Dual Blasters

I switched the initial weapon for the mercenary to be a dual blaster cannon type weapon similar to the blasters fired by Tie Fighters. I'm thinking I need some kind of particle released by the ships whenever they fire weapons. Something like a puff of smoke or quick particle flash to make the weapons seem more real.

Cool new GUI! Very good! I'll have to check if you've released a new version...

Another suggestion! :P If it's not too much work, it would look better if the yellow bit the centre of the projectile faded out more slowly than the rest. Looks a bit uniform. Could be achieved with one of your lovely glow maps?
