A Step Back for a Step Forward

So my math skills had deteriorated even further than I'd originally thought. I got into chapter 3 of the Game Institute Math Primer and realized that I couldn't remember how to simplify multiple equations to solve for three variables. WIth the help of a friend I worked my way through it. I gave it a day to fall out of my brain and now I'll run through it again. Repeating that a couple of times should make it stick in my head.

So far the primer has been pretty good. I'm going to finish it up in the next week and half and then move on to the Game Mathematics class. I also have an old subscription to a DX 8 class. I figure I can run through that material as a starter on 3D and then move on to the DX 9 class that they offer.

I've also been working on a game design idea for a 3D platformer type game. I've gotten about 12 pages of the design document complete. Then I'll break it down into more detailed terms.

So much to do so little time...
