Summer tests, bleh. Got my results in the post today, bleh. Aced the maths/physics/applied maths test, got C's in the rest. Moral of the story - you don't do the work, you don't get the marks. But since each of those marks are the result of 3 or 4 hours study before the exam I'm not too worried. A bit more study next year and I'll be grand for my Leaving Cert.
Got a job in my local newsagent. I only work two days a week, so it doesn't really interfere with anything of importance. Its a bit of cash, which is always usefull.
I decided to get into working out over the summer while I have the time to develope it as a habbit. I've been doing a nominal amount of exercise for a good while, pushups in the morning and evening, to convince myself that I'm not a completely lazy bastard. I've replaced the morning pushups with running, and i'm joining the gym in a few days. Endorphins are fun.
And then there's the new game. Its based on the little gravity demo I posted last time, but the gameplay concept has been developed and refined. We have the design doc basically finished. There's a large text file containing all the design work, I just have to get off my ass and compile it into a propper doc. It should be good - I'll be very surprised if its not better than Jailbreak, which was a bit of a let down. So from now on my posts are basically going to chronical the developement of the game.
The other two projects, the GTL and the Educatrix are still going, but I haven't touched either in a while. The GTL should see a lot of developement as the game gets made. The Educatrix is going to have to wait till the game is off it feet before I get back into it.
I'm currently listening to:
Joy Division - Substance
Tool - Lateralus
Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
Ramones - The Chrysalis Years
All really good albums.
Well, thats enough useless information for now.
