I have come to the conclusion that every GDNET+ member who keeps a journal is a flipping genius.

I mean wtf!!! There is so many amazing projects left and right. Amazing!!

===============
I am gonna start a fact of the day or of the post, every post will contain interesting tidbits I have gathered through my study of the nature of the universe.

Interesting fact - The internal time clock in everyone is to do with the period of the oscillating currents within the brain.

Do you mean brainwave activity throughout the ~24 hour period? Alpha and Beta rocking back and forth throughout the waking state and Theta and Delta throughout the sleeping time. What about individuals that have unusual patterns in their brains? Will they have a different perception of reality?

Twould be both actually, this is from a physics and not biology text mind you, we are only interested in moving charges. [smile]

But it would seem that the period of such, even when you are asleep, the body adjusts accordingly, is used to keep internal time. Thats why with enough practice you can make yourself wake up at specified times, given optimum conditions i.e. not overly fatigued.

Does "42" figure in here somewhere?

Courtesy of the world of work dragging me outta bed 5 days a week, I've gotten naturally used to 7.5hrs sleep a night, even at weekends I tend to wake up 7-8hrs after I went to bed. This the sort of thing that you're on about?

I think thats to do with conditioning or some similar, what I meant was controlling the length of your sleep to wake up at any time.
