24-Hour Make-a-Game!
Alright, so here's the deal: a gamedev forum that I admin on, onGameDev, is running a game contest that began in March-ish and ends on Tuesday. I've been a procrastinating bum and haven't done anything at all yet. Here's the plan: write a complete shooter game (shooter being the genre of the contest) in one day. Ideally one ranking not too high on the Crumminess Scale.
Tomorrow is (virtually) free for me, so I'll be sitting here doing some hardcore coding. What could be more fun? I'll be posting periodic updates as I progress on my Development Log over at onGameDev, so if you're even vaguely interested you can take a looksee at how I'm doing. :)
That is all. Expect a nice little showcase entry after the contest, irregardless of the attractiveness/completeness of it!
