Has This Journal Changed Your Life?

Sign in to follow this

I'm conducting a survey. I'm trying to find out if the person who I contracted to give me a journal headline was being truthful with me or not.

So, without further ado, please answer the following:

Has this journal changed your life?
If yes, how?
If no, what could this journal have done differently in order to change your life?

Thank you for your time. You may or may not be compensated for it.

Yes, this journal has changed my life.

Once upon a time, I was a great athlete. A rising star. Women screamed my name, and team owners lined up six deep to try to sign me to contracts. My name was all over the papers and plastered across the front of Sports Illustrated.

Then, one day I read this journal and my eyes were opened.

Money, fame, women, notoriety... Who needs that kind of aggravation? This journal showed me the true way. I quit everything and became a game developer. No money, no women, no fame. People spit on me as I walk by, and point and laugh behind my back.

Of course, it's all your fault. You and your damned journal. May your donkey break out in warts.

Yes, of course it has, in many more ways that I can accurately describe.

Well, seeing as this is the first time I've ever visited, and I simultaneously got a call from Ed McMahon and a visit from the IRS, I'd have to say yes.

The obvious answer is yes, since I'm writing this which I wouldn't have done if your journal didn't exist. The real question then is whether or not your journal could have not existed. If there is the possibility that the journal couldn't exist then you would have changed my life. But if all things are the way they are and cannot be any other way then no this journal will never change my life...

This journal has mentally scarred me and put me in a pit of despair from which I can never leave.
