Genetic algorithms hooray!

I think I am starting to go slightly off-kilter; I have developed an interest in genetic algorithms, and I am looking for more kinky and strange stuff to look up for in game development.

I am studying at the moment:
- Raytracing
- Procedural content generation
- Genetic algorithms for AI, content generation
- Software rendering
- MzScheme
- Mobile phone development

In two years, my games are either going to be exactly the same as they are now or extremely fucked up and weird.

I'm also interested in these two subjects. If you haven't already, pick up AI Techniques for Game Programming.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't even know that book existed.

Might want to browse through NickGeorgia's journal. He's been doing a lot of kick-ass writeups on fuzzy logic, neural nets, and so forth. His latest one is on genetic algorithms. Might give it a look.
