Ugh...

I am so pissed. So, of course, I work all five days last week, pull overtime, get nothing done Friday, and then... suprise! Another suprise vacation to the farm. Damnit. So that was a complete and utter waste of my time. You have no idea. Now I have to cram hard core as hell to make up for what I missed out on over the weekend. Not only that, but I didn't get to update my journal, which fell off the page!! My journal as never just fallen off the page. Grrrr...

So pissed.

Anyhow, the moving platform code gave me more trouble than I thought, but I've sorted through most of it's errors at this point. Which makes me happy. That was going to be one of the toughest parts of the code anyway. You have to account for so many cases at once. For example, what exactly happens if the player is standing on the platform (which is moving left) while the player moves right while in the right side scroll zone while being hit by a bullet. Ouch.

Now on to the really easy stuff. The last of the enemies should be a cinch (I already have the hard ones done), bullets should only take me a few hours after work this week. The biggest next step I need to take is designing the code which takes me between each menu screen and each level. Also, I'll need to work on bosses eventually, but that's not important right now. What's important is making staggering progress.

Oh, and I've been ordering computer components. Gotta love those components.
