Alright, so how are you all? Good? Excellent.
(Open up, put it in, boom chicka boom chika) Let's begin.
Ten princess points for whoever gets what that is from. Someone should know.
So anyhow, yesterday was my first day off since two weeks ago (aside from weekends which have been riddled with useless vacations). I got some great work done. I orginized my code base, finished up moving platforms (and oh my GOD that was aweful), wrote single direction enemies, wrote in the code for enemy move speed, and did all the planning I'll need to finish the bullet code (along with a stationary turret-like enemy to implement it) by the weekend.
On the weekend I hope I can write up something along the lines of my level system. That would be sweet. Then I could make the first three levels and actually play though them. Kick ass. Ugh, and then spend hours writing the boss movement routine, which include lots of running, jumping, and shooting in a pre-routed program that has to look like it has Mega-Man-Boss-style intelligence (which isn't too rough to pull off).
Anyway, I've been spending alot of time in journal land lately. I tried reading NickGeorgia's, but after 20 minutes, I was like "Man, screw that!". You write incredible stuff man, but most of it goes right over my head (I'm just not at that level yet). But seriously though, you should write a chain of articles, cause that sh*t is quality!
SirSapo writes good stuff, but he won't be around untill Saturday. And where's my main man Stompy!? I want a copy of StompyPad! The veterans (those close to 5000+ views) are good reads, though alot of them don't write as frequently anymore. I'm also trying to get into some other journals, but so little time these days. Any suggestions?
Also, I need to start talking more frequently with my people at Multi-Agent (that's my team). I'm starting to feel detatched (you guys read this though, right?).
Anyhow, time to get to work. Wordtoyourmothers.
