Nanodude is proceeding well. It shouldn't take that much longer - a few days of work. There was a brief period where we considered making the game bigger, with evolving bad guys and procedural sounds, but in the end we decided to just put a bit more time into it and get it finished off. I have work tomorrow, so I wont be able to work on it till I get back.

On the topic of work - I didn't get paid this week. Appartently they "forgot" about me this week, and they should have my money next week. Even if they are just a newsagent they should conduct themselves professionally, and this was just not professional.

I'm looking forward to the 3 hour game dev contest on sunday. Assuming nothing comes up I'm going to give it a shot. I have enough experience with them so I'm just going to go with straight C++ and SDL. I can make a 2d game fastest with these because I know the APIs almost off by heart. The graphics are going to be terrible, but I might put sunday morning aside to practice a bit with the various tools I'm going to use. Good luck to everyone who's entering!
