I'm looking to get a notebook that I can do school programming and game programming on. It's gotta be able to run the game's I'm programming so I'll need a halfway decent video solutionl Anyone out there got any suggestions? I'm going as cheap as possible, and HP's laptops with ATI Radeon Mobility 200m might be the way I go.

Dude, here's what you do, (seriously good stuff here). Go on eBay and find guys who make refurbished laptops. Get a list of all of these shops that are selling. Then contact the guys and make deals. My neighbor got a high-end Pentium 4 for 500 bucks (USD), with Windows XP and I'm looking at doing the same.

Toshiba currently produce very reliable and hard wearing laptops, they usually stick a nVidia chipset in them too and at very reasonable prices.
