The Discovery has launched.

It's always been my favourite shuttle; It is currently the oldest spacecraft in use, and holds the record for the most launches of a single spacecraft (this is its 31st launch), though Columbia had more orbits, distance, and time in space.

On launch, they experience an upwards accelleration of 29.4m/s^2, or roughly 3G's. Wheeee!
