Ok, I've been procrastinating a lot lately, and doing very little. I haven't been here in about 2 months or so, and I've been doing very little programming (Although I have still been reading Dave's OpenGL book :P)

So, interesting things that have happened...
  • I've been playing Maple Story too much, and got my character to level 41
  • I recieved a Microsoft DirectX MVP award. Whee, free MP3 player and MSDN subscription (Which is VAST and filled with fancypants DVDs)
  • I'm not entering 4e4 - I'm not motivated enough just now :(
  • I bought a router
  • Nothing much else

I'll finish with some random links:

I don't know if anyone here will of had the "pleasure"* of using Lotus Notes... but I got several copies of that animation sametime'd to me with the caption "An average user's experience when using Lotus Notes"

    It's so true [lol]

Anyway, big congrats on the MVP award [grin] - are you gonna make an appearance at the summit in a couple of months? Haven't spotted your name on the attendance list yet [oh]

    WOW, COMMENTS!

I'm not sure about the summit, I haven't really looked at any information. I'd like to come along, so I'll go have a look at all the bumf I have about it.

Congrats on your awards too, Jack and Richard. We seem to all be the Windows - DirectX guys [grin]

Welcome back Steve, long time no see!

Hope you minded your pennies and didn't buy your router from Ripoff World PC World... I won't be buying from there again in a hurry.

Nah, I just got a cheapie one for Silicon Group. £20, and it works fine for my purposes. Only had to reset it once, and that was because something weird happened to my network / Internet.

I knew about superpig, circlesoft and S1CA, but I didn't realise who the others are. I need to spend more time hanging around here again [smile]

I don't think I'll be going to the MVP sumit. To be perfectly honest, I can't be bothered. And I'm low on funds just now (which is a crap excuse, I could probably get money together if I really wanted to). Also, I really don't know what I'll be doing at the end of September - hopefully working somewhere. If it was somewhere in the UK, I'd be more likely to go.

    P.S. I love you, Pouya.
