I'm working on that 2D RPG I was talking about, and first I decided I would tackle the scripting side of things (makes making a menu and battle system a lot easier). I created a UML diagram of the scripting engine before I actually started:

Things I'm worried about:
--Synchronization. I really don't want one script running at a time. I also need a way for my VM to pass control to the main loop, and to divy up the time for individual scripts.
--Compilation. I need to think of a way to have scripts be in binary format.

If anyone has any comments on anything involving what I'm worrying about or just the script engine in general, please let me know! Any comments are useful.
