I've just noticed how stupid an assertion "games cannot be deterministic" could look without qualification.

All I was driving at is that there has to be some element of randomness, be it through direct induction by the game itself, or through the player's inability to make a constant choice (i.e. they don't fire from exactly the same position/angle each time).


Since my induction, I've been to the gym twice, the second time being today - spent about an hour each time working on the cardio machines (bike, rowing, crosswalk). At some point I'll actually get down and start using the weight machines too...

Oh, and the most recent game idea that I've come up with (and actually intend to develop) is called Night of the Living Bread. Ph33r.
