It's been a good birthday. Spent large parts of the day just playing the game, helping Ali regress (or, as it should be known, 'confirm fixed') some multiplayer bugs. Down to the pub at lunch, again after work, then home to see my parents for the first time in two weeks and recieve fish and chips.

It's actually Ali's birthday too, and when I left they were about to start playing drinking games with apple sours. I wonder if he'll be conscious tomorrow.

Present-wise, I've had about GBP150, plus three Kukuxumusu shirts (which are awesome, I'll need to get pictures), Game Programming Gems 5, Shader X3, and David Freeman's Emotioneering book (which has been on my wishlist since I heard him talk at EDF 2004). There may be more to come, too.

Oh... sorry. Alastair Stevenson (aka Ali) is a friend of mine from school who I got a QA (and now junior artist) position at the company.
