Sir Sapo

Hooray!!!! the new Angels 20 update is here!!!!!

Angels 20 Version 0.8.9

That's right folks, after delaying the update for weeks, I finally decided to upload it. Unfortunately, it just feels a little rushed. I wanted to have another day or two just to fine tune some stuff, but I really wanted to see what you guys think, so I kinda rushed it out. As a result, there are only 2 levels instead of the 3 promised, and one of them should look really familiar.... Also, there's some issues with the old particle emitters not working, and some weapons just lack the boom we wanted them to have.

Anyways, as usual, heres the list of improvements and stuff that still sucks...

Updated Features:
-New Smoke Emitters
-2 New Weapons
-New Control Scheme
-Menu system
-New Levels
-New HUD system
-AAA Trucks and Flak Panzers
-20 new tiles
-4 destructable tile states
-explosion animations
-numerous little changes

Stuff We Still Need To Fix:
-We NEED better sound effects and music
-More enemies
-MIG AI completed
-Wierd Crahsing Bugs
-Other little things I forgot

Anyways, please let us know what you think about the update!

Angels 20 Feature WorkList
-An Actual Front-End Menu
-A Map of the Level on the HUD
-Good MIG AI
-Destructable Tiles
-A checklist of enemies on the level
-Repair Trucks that actually have to stop to repair stuff
-Ground Vehicles that can shoot at you
-More weapons (ie. Napalm, Cluster Bombs, etc)
-Fully Automatic Gun
-Forward Supply Bases
-More mission parameters (ie. timelimits , targets , etc)
-Random HUD Stuff
-Expanded Tileset
-Improved Level Editor
(Almost Done!!!!)

Dont Forget To Try Out The Newest Version Of Angels 20

Good news: Well i downloaded and it works!
Bad news: it's slow as hell, not fun to play :( (my pc: 533hmz,ATI rage 128 pro 16mb, 320 mb RAM)
it worked much much better with earlier versions...

I just played the new version and was also intialy dissapointed at the slowness, but after I pressed Esc (after restarting using 'R' a few times) went to the menu and loaded up the other level it ran way better.
I guess the first time you load a level something makes it lag, but loading up another one makes it work much better, although it still is a little slower than the older version.
