Ok, I decided I couldn't face coding. Instead, I decided to do some real MVP stuff, checking out the newsgroups and so on.

And then I remembered: "Hey, I have a $150 voucher for the Microsoft store!". So I went and bought a bunch of crap, ranging from carabiner clips to a copy of Windows XP.
Here's what I bought:

Well, that was entertaining [grin]

Edit: Oh, I got 3 tins of mints, 3 spy pens, 2 carabiner clips, and 1 of everything else. Sex.

You should have just got $150 worth of candy and stressballs. Seriously. And then invent a game where you throw candy at the stressball and try to bounce it back into the box or something. Then put this game on your resume and submit it to microsoft. Bing! Job!

I've been wondering what to buy from the MS store. There's almost too much corporate tack to choose from [lol]

The various XBOX things that are a sickeningly bright green looked fun.

When I lived in the UK, on bonfire night a group of climbing friends and I would burn MS books for fun (and flames). To think what we could have done with MS biners....

Personally, I spent most of my voucher on books - picked up the MCSD core requirements box set for $80 (a.k.a. free).
