Yep, no furniture :). Turns out I owned exactly one thing: a small roll around computer desk. The chair wasn't even mine lol. My Dad did give me an air matress for now, and I could probably get a folding chair or two off him, but meh, I'll get what I need in time. Been trying to stock the essentials though, by going to Wal-Mart and living on the super cheap. Today for example I just bought a 4 pack of steak knives for $2, and a toaster for $6 :). I'm sure they suck, but they only have to last just under 2 years.
I really love the location too, I think I mentioned it before, but it's within walking/riding distance of pretty much anything I need, provided the weather isn't too bad (I'll probably drive to school in the dead of winter, since I'm usually here until 11pm or so, it get's really really cold then.
I called my landlady today though on a couple of things. The intercom wasn't working (so people outside the security door can ring me and I can buzz them in, like in Seinfeld), apparently they program it to my cell phone, so it calls my cell and I answer and can open the door from it. Pretty cool cause if I ever lock my keys inside I can at least get in the security door by buzzing myself in.
The other thing was the shower head, it doesn't really spray jets of water like most do, rather it just sprayed a fine mist everywhere. Now that's all fine and dandy if I want a humidifier, but it's really hard to get clean that way, especially since it cools off so fast it will simultaneously give my head 2nd degree burns and freeze my feet. So I asked if I could just go buy one and replace it myself and she said I could. So I bought one but still need to install it.
Anyway, other than that I've been spending 10-14 hours a day at school doing...school stuff. I've been trying to work on a new project at home, which hopefully by the end of the month I'll be far enough along to start talking about here. It's nothing special, but I don't have time for special things :).
