Hey everybody!

I didn't get as much done today than this weekend, but I still made some progress. I made the missiles launched from the SAM site have the good smoke emitters stuck on the back instead of the old sparkler ones. I also put an explosion sprite with the SAM, so that it actually explodes when it hits you or runs out of fuel.

I was initially going to try and get a screenshot of the missile right before it hits the player, but I accidently pressed "print screen" a little too late, and got a picture of the missile exploding, which, as it turns out, looks pretty cool, so it will be my cool image of the day:

I also made it so that when you kill a Flak site, 50% of the time, and person runs out and procedes to.... well .... run. There's also a 50% chance that the guy who runs out will be on fire, or as Mark the artist so aptly put: "a flamer". I would show a picture of the grisly massacre that ensues, but its just too gruesome... and I'm to lazy to FTP it to my server.

Mark the artist(aka, Prinz Eugn), hit a milestone today, he completely finished the Cuban tileset!! WOOOHOOOO!!! Now he can focus on... the other 3 he has to do... but I'm sure it will be nice for him to start drawing something besides huts and palm trees. His next project is the "Barge Tileset", which contains tiles that are modular, and are used to make ships. He's also drawing large ships that will be actual entities in the game, and are really big and pretty. I wont spoil the complete suprise and show you the warships, but I will give you guys this tanker to look at.

Tomorrow I'm going to whip up a level for the update were releasing this Friday(seriously this time[grin]), so look forward to fly over some new maps, and play around with the new features this weekend!
