I feel like switching the setting of my game to space. This won't effect the gameplay any, but I think space is more interesting then a medieval setting.

Any thoughts?

What about a Shadowrun/cyberpunk style "near future"?

Go for it, space has a lot more "cool" possibilities than medieval, although thats just from my perspective.

I think you should do the reverse. MICROSCOPIC! Have it between different factions of bacteria.... I don't think I've ever seen a game like that [grin]

Yeah, and you can have power-ups like Mitosis, which would duplicate a unit, and stuff like that. Hell, make it educational and you could sell it!

I've actually thought about making a game like this. Maybe I will later though...

That setting (bacteria) would make your game somewhat unique, one of the only possible advantages you have (as an indie developer).

Space is good. Really good. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly good it is.
