Doom Mapping

So I spent the last week or so working on a presentation and some other liberal studies work, so I didn't do any game development. However, I did manage to fit in some time to rediscover Doom and do some old school map making. Here's some shots of my map in its current form:

I just finished my presentation today and it went very well. Now to get back into working on my game. I've been thinking it would be amusing to add support for the Doom WAD file format to my engine. It could treat the WAD as an archive and extract textures and sounds, possibly even levels converted to meshes but that might be more difficult.
