The Underlying Good

Sir Sapo

Hey everyone,

Well, initially, I was put off by the new site look, I don't know why, but the dark look set the site apart from all my friends respective home forums. Anyways, I liked the dark look (and no I dont live in my moms basement[grin]), but today, I was proven wrong, all seemingly bad things are blessings in disguise.

You see, my school's server blocked my from getting onto gamedev.net, which sort of had me pissed, until of course the new look came, and I was suddenly able to get on the www2 site from school computers. Anyways...

Yesterday I messed around with GLUT, and made a small app that allows the user to create a vehicle by placing parts together using popup menus, which can then be saved into the games vehicle database. This version is mostly for Mark and I to make stuff with, and I'll probably make a new one for the customizing inside the game itself, but until then, it works.

Also, does anyone know of a good OpenGL GUI library that supports stuff like text boxes and check boxes? I've got experience using Java GUI elements, but I have never actually used any for C++.

Well, I'll talk to you guys later.

PS. If you haven't already, try out TrapperZoid's excellent Pierre and the Fish, It's the one of the best one button games I have ever played(and I don't know why[grin], it just is).
