Right, I'm typing this using Internet Explorer 7 running under Windows Vista [grin]

Spent most of last night backing up my system (all 61,581mb over 15 DVD's [wow]) and cleared out my 'games' partition to make space.

I haven't checked it yet, but I've hopefully managed to dual-boot with Windows XP so that I don't render my computer useless. Seems that the internet is working and I can get through to GDNet which is good enough.

I'm gonna go and explore the system and try and get everything working - it's currently got all the default settings.

ookay, I'm back in XP and things seem to be working. Yay!

Although, for some unknown reason it's rest my WinXP clock back to 06:51am - when it's actually 2:51pm. Go Figure.

Perhaps a time-zone bug that should be reported?

Yup, it's some sort of bug where it seems to be setting it back to GMT-8 each time (conveniently that's the timezone Seattle is in!).
