More SDK stuff

Obviously people have been going after the latest SDK update for the DX10 parts. However, I think there is a far better reason.

Everyone should upgrade so that they can have the HDRDemo Sample. It's far more exciting than all of DX10 put together.

Why? well, you might notice some similarity to this. Yup, my work is in the DirectX SDK [grin]

It's a substantially refined/improved version of the code I released in the thread, so it's probably worth checking out anyway.

I've not had a chance to install the SDK on this machine yet so I haven't checked out how it appears "offline", but at least for the online one they dropped my name off the bottom [sad]. Right at the bottom there was a little "about the author" and a couple of acknowledgements to Muhammad and Francisco for their help. Oh well.

Don't worry, at least GameDev will know the truth. ;-)
Too bad I'm not going to install any kind of DirectX SDK in this life.

My name is credited in the SDK's sample browser it seems... but the actual code in the SDK is an old version [headshake]
