Eureka! (Not quite)

Well, I got a very late start on my coding today, and I didn't get as much done as I would have hoped, but it's late now and i figured i'd put something about my progress here, since I am paying for it and all [wink].

I was going back and forth today and yesterday with whether I should write my own model loading stuff right now or not. I've done it before and IMO loaders are loaders, they all accomplish the same thing, but perhaps in slightly different ways.

I searched around and found the .OBJ file to be fairly easy to comprehend, but again, me being my usual lazy self I did a bit more searching and found that one has been written, and who am I to refuse free code!? So Here's the thread in which it was found, and here's a direct link to the code.

I plugged it into my code and, while it's not working perfectly, it's almost 2:30 a.m. and will give me a good starting point when I wake up, but at least it's some progress in the right direction.



The above is supposed to be a golf tee, but, as you can see, it's missing some tris. I'll work on it tomorrow though [smile].
