I have an idea to add sprites floating in the background. Since the game is in space, it would be cool for the effect to add satelites and planets floating in the background.

There probably won't be a demo of this game for awhile. For one, I currently being very lazy about working on it. Secondly, I notice that it sometimes makes me disinterested in working on a project after I release the demo. This game will be playable "when it's done", which at this rate, will be a long time.

I think the game will be really cool when I'm finished with it. I plan to add alot of features and make an excellent mario style platformer...in...um...space...[smile].

Although now that I think about it, is it a good idea to have a platformer in space? Then again, it would explain why the main character can jump so high[grin]

Sir Sapo
I think space is good for a platformer, as long as you change up the environments often (ie. inside a ship, outside a ship, moon's surface, jungle planets surface, etc).

Nice Work BTW, you inspired me to finally start on my platformer engine.

Although I was planning to only have the levels take place on a moon, maybe adding some new themes might be a good idea. I'm in no rush to finish this, so I'll see how it goes.

Glad to hear that you'll be working on a platformer. It's one of my favorite genres of games, and certainly my favorite to make.
