I've managed to have more time off in the past two weeks then I have in the last six months from my job. This is excellent considering for the first four months I probably only had a total of a weeks time off,total. Anyways, this has allowed me to spend a lot of time on my projects, and to do nothing, which has been nice for a change, even though I've still not really been doing nothing, it's just nice to know that I could do nothing.

I haven't gotten that much done with my game engine the past week, but I still have been making progress, I also order some books from Amazon, that should be here next week, to add to my game development collection that should help out. The two books I'm most excited about are :

Essential Mathematics for Games and Interactive Applications, First Edition : A Programmer's Guide (The Morgan Kaufmann Series in Interactive 3D Technology) (Hardcover)


3D Game Engine Architecture, First Edition : Engineering Real-Time Applications with Wild Magic (The Morgan Kaufmann Series in Interactive 3D Technology) (Hardcover)

I'm more excited about the latter, as I'm hoping it'll help me figure out some questions that I've been running into, that I haven't been able to find the answers to online, such as advanced camera controls. I'm just hoping that my time's not going to be completely eaten up by work and school once school starts.

I could post a screen shot for you guys, but I'm going to wait a little longer unitl I get some additional functionality into the engine, which, after reading for a few hours, I'll get right on top of, for sure.
