Almost forgot this.

Today is February 8th, 2006.

On February 8th, 2005, I quit smoking cigarettes.

I have not relapsed.

They say that once you've reached the 6 month mark, it's pretty much a done deal.

I still don't like handling cigarettes or having them around me, even if they are in a pack, and the urges are much less frequent and less intense than they used to be at the beginning.

Excellent work!

What's your secret? Just willpower and avoiding stressful situations?

Way to go.

I used to smoke 2 - 2.5 packs per day, for about 5 years. One day I decided my entire life I was either smoking or thinking about smoking, and that I was tired of living like that, so I quit.

That was 1993, and I haven't had one since. Once you are mentally done with it, you wont have cravings anymore...
