A quick update.......

Hey everyone!

I finally got the battle animation system working OK, and it looks pretty cool, even with my crappy textures! I pretty much was instanciating the particle emitters in the wrong places with the wrong texture settings, which explains the subpar visuals when I coded it last night.

Anyways, I just wanted to show you guys a screeny with a ship firing a barage of 5 missiles (that say USA on them if you look... Mark's going to kill me....) at an enemy ship. Yeah, I just wanted to show you guys that before I got sidetracked.



It looks cooler moving, I swear.....

I'll post a longer more detailed update tonight, but until then, let me know what you think.

It's the enemy that is shooting, right? It would look kinda weird if it was you shooting rockets with the bottom first [smile].

Nice work!

EDIT: It would be cool to see all this in action [grin]. Use FRAPS to conquer the frames!

Yeah, what you can't see from the screen was the rockets launch pointing away from the target and then curling around, but hopefully I can get a movie tonight using FRAPS, so you guys can see it in action!
