This weekend I'm planning to start work on the basic prototype for the gamedb system I've been talking about. I'll ignore storage and serialisation and focus on the specification of objects and the set-based querying API. This API does not include the query command interpreter (so no SQL-like queries).

The method call interface will be generic, but I'll hook up a GameMonkey script and C++ implementation to allow me to call methods on the objects; but the main thing is the attribute querying.
