Highly addictive scrolly text game that will have you playing in your sleep. Music that gets into your head. Really spiffy ASCII graphics.

JetLag 2003 is part of a fine tradition that started circa 1990 in 6809E assembly, was redone in BASICA/GW-BASIC for IBM PCs, redone again in Turbo Pascal 6.0 for DOS, redone yet again for QBASIC, again for Borland Pascal 7.0, then for VC++ 4.0 with DirectX 5.0 for Windows 9X.

JetLag 2003 was written in VC++.NET to use SDL 1.2, and so indirectly uses DirectX. It continues the fine tradition of using a DOS font, which it has always done since its move to GW-BASIC.

Not responsible for failed classes, lost jobs, divorces, etc caused as a result of becoming addicted to JetLag.
Instructions may be found in game by pressing F1 from the title screen. Most gameplay consists of turning left, turning right, and trying not to die. Other interface elements are menu driven and should be relatively obvious.
This game has only been tested on Windows XP with DirectX 9.0 and SDL version 1.2. It may or may not run on other systems.

This game is very probably the only truly good thing in the universe.

I was completely addicted to this game throughout the process of doing my dissertation. If I fail my degree, I blame you.

Very Cool Game. I really enjoy old style games. This is a keeper. The sound is classic too. LOL

Definitely got the music stuck in my head, but the gameplay I found to be pretty shallow. I'm sort of disappointed I didn't get the same thrill as everyone else. :) Still a fun play.

Wow... I could play this for a very long time. It's like my old craze with tetris. I only just stopped to say that.

Since posting, I've gotten 3 others addicted, out of the three I've showed. Really, this could've been huge if it had come in the early wave.

This is a remake of a highly addictive QBasic game I played sometime in the 90s. I cant remember what the game was called but it was ASCII as well. Definately a fun game! :)
