Anyone here know if Photoshop 5 \ 6 automatically output''s tga files with a bottom left origin? If that is so, should I be required to flip all my images before loading in to an api, assuming d3d\ogl require a top origin image from the upside down textures on my screen... I''v read the targa.pdf spec, however though the spec is well documented it doesn''t tell me about implementations. Anyone care to comment on the normal origin of: -OpenGL -Direct3D -Photoshop I''m trying to determin if I''ve been living with flipped images for the last year without knowing it... Many thanks, Chris Brodie http:\\fourth.flipcode.com

If read the specs of the TGA format, you can see that there are byte in the header that tells you the origin of the image. You should use these to know.
