Sky Dome
How can I use sky dome in DirectX? Is there a tutorial? BTW how can i convert X files in text format to binary format?
I made a sky dome system, its really not that hard. What I did was load a dome mesh from a .md3 file that I made in gMax, applied a texture to it(in my case, animated clouds), then drew the dome over the entire scene. You can download my source if you want to see an example when I finish my 4E3 contest entry(the sky dome is used in it).
